The state of Utah's contingency of players at this year's NFL Scouting Combine doesn't compare to last year, when 16 athletes with Utah ties took part in the combine in Indianapolis.

Still, for six local college players, the opportunity will be there to impress NFL personnel when the combine takes place Feb. 17-23 at the Colts' Lucas Oil Stadium.

In 2014, the state was well-represented at the NFL Combine, as there were five players each from BYU and Utah, as well as four from Utah State. There was a Dixie State representative and a former Utah high schooler as well.

This year, there will be five Utes and one Cougar at the combine.

Here's a look at the local players who will perform at the 2015 NFL Combine, as well as four others who aren't headed to Indianapolis but had opportunities to impress recently at college all-star games.
