NORTH SALT LAKE — The billing cycle for city utility bills is changing. Beginning in March, utility bills will be mailed by the 15th of each month and will be due the last day of each month.

Between February and March, there will be a one-time, six-week gap between bills.

The cycle change will provide residents with more up-to-date water usage information. Currently, usage data customers see are 30 to 60 days old. This creates a problem if a resident has an internal leak or doesn’t know they are using too much water until it’s too late to make early corrections or repairs.
