Harmful side effects

The media have seemed to ignore an announcement on marijuana from the journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics, which was given on Jan. 25, 2015. Marijuana has serious potential side effects for children, teens and young adults. These include psychosis, schizophrenia, impaired memory, slowed reaction time, poor coordination, impaired judgment, strokes, etc.

Students on marijuana find it hard to finish high school and college. It is less harmful but still not safe for adults. Medical marijuana is under study to determine its efficacy. Legalization of marijuana makes young people think it is safe and they can acquire it easily. Marijuana should not be legalized.
