BOUNTIFUL — The Utah Department of Transportation is advising motorists that east-west traffic on 2600 South will be closed at I-15 to facilitate continuing work on the I-15 South Davis Project on Saturday night through noon Sunday.

East-west traffic on 2600 South will be blocked at the interchange from 10 p.m. Saturday through noon Sunday. The closure will impact direct access to some local businesses between U.S. 89 and I-15, as well as interstate access to the Bountiful Regional Conference Center, where LDS stake conferences are scheduled on Sunday.

The closure is due to the reconstruction of the 2600 South interchange at I-15.

While the 2600 South I-15 on- and off-ramps will remain open, there will be no east-west access through the interchange itself.

Motorists looking to access businesses in the area or the Bountiful Regional Center can use I-15 left Exit 317 (500 West and U.S. 89), or Exit 316 (500 South) to U.S. 89 as alternate routes.

For general information about the I-15 South Davis project or to sign up for email updates, call the project hotline at 888-966-6624 or visit www.udot.utah.gov/i15southdavis.
