In an ad that aired Sunday during the Super Bowl, McDonald’s announced that it will be “randomly accepting a new form of payment” from Feb. 2 through Feb. 14. The ad, “Pay With Lovin,’ ” shows people paying for their food through simple acts of kindness, such as a mother telling her son what she loves about him or a family participating in a group hug.

While some believed it was just an ad with a nice message, on Monday, people began receiving their food in exchange for acts of love.

“I just paid for my McDonald’s with a hug,” said Maria Zamora of Kennewick, Washington, in a Facebook post. “Sweet deal.”

Business Insider compiled a number of YouTube videos showing people paying for their food with lovin’ at McDonald’s. The original Super Bowl ad has been viewed more than 5 million times since it was posted to YouTube Thursday.
