Now that the Legislature has finished, perhaps it is time to look at who is gaining what? The Senate voted for Healthy Utah. The House leadership opposed it, due to the fact that the head of the body owns an insurance company that could possibly lose money if they can't sell a lot of very expensive insurance plans. No one brought this up to the Ethics Committee, however, since he is also the head of ethics for the House. As long as politicians are looking out for their personal interests at the expense of the rest of us, we may need to check who we're voting for.
