Brighton wide receiver Simi Fehoko narrows college options, BYU and Utah in final five

Brighton wide receiver Simi Fehoko, rated as a three-star recruit by Rivals.com and a four-star recruit by 247Sports, announced Wednesday afternoon he has narrowed his search to five schools.

The upcoming high school senior tweeted that the finalists are BYU, Michigan, Stanford, Utah and Washington.

According to ESPN, he also had offers from Arizona State, Clemson and Oregon State, among others. Both Rivals and 247 currently rate him the top Utah prep prospect in the state for 2016.

Fehoko led the Bengals with 65 catches and 1,656 yards and 24 touchdowns as a junior in 2014.

He has 83 catches, 2,113 receiving yards and 25 touchdowns thus far in his high school career. He also has 10 career interceptions as a defensive back.
