Everyone's talking about Jason Kreis ahead of Saturday's match pitting Real Salt Lake against New York City FC for the first time.

Rightly so, too. Kreis, NYCFC coach and former RSL coach, had a long and storied career at RSL (although not as long as most fans of the club would like) and his departure caused a not-small amount of consternation around the fan base. So when everyone starts talking about Jason Kreis, it's hard to blame them, but it also means some interesting storylines get buried on a metaphorical Page B3.

So what better to muse on than those storylines?
