Utah's season opener against Michigan at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Sept. 3 will start at 6:30 p.m. MDT and be televised on Fox Sports 1, as the Pac-12 announced TV information and game times for the first three weeks of the 2015 season on Monday.
Also, the Utes' Sept. 11 matchup with Utah State will be on ESPN2 and start at 7 p.m., while Utah's Sept. 19 game at Fresno State will kick off at 7:30 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.
Among other local revelations from the TV announcement: BYU's game at UCLA on Sept. 19 will start at 8:30 p.m. and be televised on Fox Sports 1.
Also, the Pac-12 Networks will televise 17 games in the first three weeks of the season. Among the games the network will televise are Weber State at Oregon State on Sept. 4 at 6 p.m. and Utah State at Washington on Sept. 19 at 3 p.m.
Last week, NFL.com writers Mike Huguenin, Chase Goodbread and Bryan Fischer rated the Utah-Michigan contest the No. 11 game to watch in the 2015 college football season.
"It's Jim Harbaugh's first game as Michigan's coach. And in RB Devontae Booker, the Utes have a big-time back who is going to provide a stern test for Harbaugh's defense," the NFL.com story said.
