PROVO — Former champion Nick Killpack fired a 10-under-par 62 Friday at East Bay Golf Course and sits atop the leaderboard going into the final round of the Provo Open.

The former BYU golfer sits at 16-under-par 128 and is one shot ahead of Salt Lake's Zach Johnson, who shot a 63 after an opening-round 66. Another shot back at 130 is defending champion Dusty Fielding who shot a 63 Friday.

C.J. Lee is the low amateur at 134 and is tied with Gipper Finau, who shot a 66 in the second round.
