BYU football's season opener at Nebraska will be nationally televised.
The Saturday, Sept. 5, game will kick off at 1:30 p.m. MDT on ABC, the Nebraska Athletics' official website announced today. It's the first time the Cougars and Huskers have ever met in football.
The BYU-Nebraska game will be the last of the state's college football teams to play during college football's opening weekend.
The Utah Utes and Utah State Aggies kick off their seasons Thursday, Sept. 3. Utah hosts Michigan at 6:30 p.m. on Fox Sports 1 while time and TV coverage has yet be announced for the USU-Southern Utah game in Logan.
Next, Weber State opens its season on the road Friday, Sept. 4. The Wildcats will take on Gary Andersen's Oregon State Beavers at 6 p.m. on the Pac-12 Network.
