SPRINGVILLE — Police have arrested a man who they say stabbed a man during an argument at his neighbor's house Sunday.

Jordan Willey Wood, 21, was arrested Tuesday night at a home in Spanish Fork where police say he had been hiding since the stabbing. Three others in the home were arrested for investigation of hiding Wood.

Wood goes by the moniker "Montel Showtime," according to police.

Witnesses told police that the 22-year-old victim was arguing at a neighbor's home about 6 p.m. Sunday when Wood, who does not live at the house, inserted himself into the argument, Springville Police Lt. Dave Caron said at the time.

Wood pulled out a knife as if he were going to use it in a fight, police said. The owner of the house told everyone to leave, but as the victim walked away, Wood followed him and stabbed him on the left side just under the rib cage, Caron said.

The victim ran to another neighbor's house to call 911 and was then taken to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. His condition was unknown Wednesday.
