One dad is sending a message to parents who use public shaming to discipline their children with a Facebook video that has gone viral.
As the video begins, Wayman Gresham holds an electric razor and says he is going to punish his son for bad behavior by giving him an embarrassing haircut, but he quickly switches gears, giving his son a hug and saying he would never treat his son that way.
"Good parenting is letting your child know that you love them regardless of what they are and who they are and showing them the way by example," he says in the video.
Gresham posted the video to Facebook on May 27, and it had received over 19 million views at the time this article was published.
