A woman is hospitalized after rear ending boat, sending it over truck

The driver of a Ford truck was hospitalized Friday, June 5, 2015, after rear-ending a boat towed by a Toyota Tundra near 250 S. Bear Lake Blvd. in Garden City.

GARDEN CITY, Rich County — A woman is in the hospital after the Ford truck she was driving rear-ended a Toyota Tundra towing a boat Friday, sending the boat over the cab of the Toyota.

The truck towing the boat was waiting to turn left near 250 S. Bear Lake Blvd. about 4:19 p.m. when the Ford truck hit the boat, according to the Rich County Sheriff's Office.

The woman was taken to a local hospital, though the extent of her injuries were not known.
