SALT LAKE CITY — As one more piece of evidence that Gordon Hayward has grown up before our eyes, the Utah Jazz star is now a father.
Hayward's wife, Robyn, delivered the couple's first child on Saturday evening, the Deseret News was informed, giving the small forward and his team one more fan.
By the way, this fan might wear a pink No. 20 jersey.
It's a girl!

In his postseason exit interview, the 25-year-old Hayward, an avid video game player, joked about how part of his life might change when his daughter arrived.
"We’re having a baby," he said, "so I think video games are going to have to be on hold. Unfortunately."
In February, Hayward wrote a blog (at gordonhayward20.com) announcing his wife's pregnancy and sharing his feelings about becoming a first-time father.
"I’m really excited about becoming a dad," he wrote. "We’re starting the next chapter of our lives together, and I’m ready for it."
Hayward also mentioned that it helped being around a team that included multiple fathers and a terrific support system.
"I’ve been getting advice from any and everybody about the process. Fortunately, a lot of the guys and coaches on the team have kids, so they give you advice," he wrote. "It helps to be surrounded by a bunch of people that have been through it and can help."
Jazz power forward Derrick Favors and his girlfriend, Shivolli Da Silva, are also expecting twins this summer.
SUNDAY WORKOUT: The Jazz will hold yet another pre-draft workout Sunday morning at their practice facility.
The group will include: Duke guard Quinn Cook, Louisville forward Montrezl Harrell, Villanova guard Darrun Hillard, Nebraska forward Terran Petteway, Baylor guard Kenny Chery and Minnesota forward Maurice Walker.
