I’m all for letting children experience things on their own, but not when it’s at the expense of other people — particularly their privacy. Free-range parenting needs to be corralled when children think the entire neighborhood is their playground. Homeowners deserve a free range of privacy, especially when it comes to a child not part of their family who is often left alone by his parents.
