A team of staff members at Willis-Knighton Cancer Center in Louisiana has participated in a surprising activity after work: dance lessons. One of the nurses, Daniel Speir, promised Sophia Petikas, a 12-year-old patient, that he would learn the dance to Silentó's "Watch Me," according to this YouTube video.
Speir recruited other staff members to perform the dance with him on the last day of Sophia's hospitalization.
"They had practiced on their own time," Sophia's mother, Julia Petikas, told Inside Edition. "Daniel led them in a practice, and he learned the moves on YouTube."
At the time this article was published, the video of the performance had more than 500,000 views.
