Why is it that our elected officials do not listen to us, the people who elected them to office? There is a large block of citizens who are opposed to the movement of the Draper prison, yet our elected officials don't pay attention to us. They treat us as though we don't exist.
With all the clamor about not moving the prison, our legislators go right ahead and plan for the movement despite all the opposition to it. The prison should not be moved for any number of reasons pointed out in the news media. We don't need our taxes raised to fund such a foolish venture. Why won't anyone in our state government listen to us?
