WEST VALLEY CITY — Three men were injured in a shooting Sunday night outside a home in West Valley City, but they're not cooperating with investigators, police said.

The men, two of them in their 40s and the other in his 30s, were at 1512 W. 2785 South around 11:20 p.m. when they were shot, said West Valley Police Sgt. Chad Evans.

A passerby made a phone call for help, Evans said. Police and medical personnel responded and found two of the men, both with gunshot wounds to their legs. One of the men later checked himself into a hospital with a gunshot wound to his hand. None of their injuries are considered life-threatening.

The two men who were contacted by police initially resisted medical treatment and have refused to answer investigators' questions about the incident, according to Evans.

"None of them were cooperative whatsoever," he said.

Police didn't know Monday whether the shooting was gang-related.
