No one would argue that George Washington and the Founding Fathers didn't want what was best for the country. With very few exceptions, they put America above their own ambitions. My question is, "what happened"? We have just had over six years of an egotistical president who believed he could do anything he wanted because of his position. I could list a hundred of his actions, but the most significant thing is putting America and Israel in enormous danger with the Iran agreement, for his own legacy.

Now we have Donald Trump, who is in the same mold. No one can deny his outward ego when he speaks. This may not always be bad for the country, but in the last couple of weeks he has made it pretty clear that it's all about him and not the good of the country. If he doesn't get the Republican nomination, he will run as a third-party candidate. This will then hand the election to Hillary Clinton, which would be disastrous for the country.

The Founding Fathers are rolling over in their graves.
