You know how babies are all goo-goo-ga-ga?
This baby’s more like goo-goo-ga-grr.
In the video below, a young baby keeps his scowl even as family members attempt to make him laugh.
At the end of the video, the baby eventually cracks a smile — kind of.
Keeping a newborn happy can be a difficult task, especially because a majority of a baby’s emotions are internal, which makes it hard for parents to understand how a baby is really feeling, according to BabyCenter.
Experts told BabyCenter parents should monitor a child’s physical expressions — crying and screaming often indicate discomfort or unhappiness, while laughter implies giddiness — to best understand their new baby’s emotions.
“Your baby probably has his own ways of showing you when he's not content,” according to BabyCenter. “Some babies may cry, while others become clingy. As you get to know your own child's temperament, you'll become better at learning the signs that something's not right in his world.”
