Survivors of abuse and other women around the world lip-synced to Rachel Platten's "Fight Song" in a new video to raise money and support for women dealing with the effects of sexual abuse, with a message from Platten herself.
The video campaign raised $250,000 for Younique Foundation, a nonprofit organization for abused women. Ashton Kutcher featured an article about the foundation on his Facebook page where he has more than 17 million followers.
"I'm thrilled that my fight song was able to help so many women who are survivors of sexual abuse," Platten said in the video. "To all the survivors out there, you are not alone. Never stop fighting and know that there are many others fighting for you too."
Younique, a Utah-based cosmetics producer, sponsored the video, which was released on Thursday.
