On Monday, I slipped and fell in the vicinity of 300 South and 500 East. I had been in the sun far too long, became dizzy and fell onto a cement walkway. I have crippling rheumatoid arthritis and was in considerable pain. Two very kind women came rushing over, got water for me and helped me. They were so caring. Unfortunately, I was a bit disoriented and not aware enough to ask for their names.
I hope that the Deseret News will print this on the chance that they will see it; I would like to thank them for being the proverbial Good Samaritans. I sometimes hear people say that people no longer care about each other. These two women who stopped to help a stranger in an alley walkway proved that good, caring people still exist.
