It's just a matter of the effort and perseverance. – Dustin Shillcox

Five years ago, Dustin Shillcox was paralyzed in a car accident. Now, he's standing again.

Shillox is taking part in a clinical trial that uses epidural stimulators to send charges to the spinal cord, reminding his nerves of their prior capabilities.

"I believe I will walk again one day," said Shillox. "It's just a matter of the effort and perseverance."
