The Deseret News recently published two stories about federal court cases. In one case, a federal judge ruled that activists have a constitutional right to secretly film dairy farmers while they are working with their cows; the public has the right to know the truth about what happens to cows at a dairy barn.
In a separate ruling, a federal judge ruled that activists who secretly filmed abortionists negotiating the sale of fetal body parts are barred from releasing the films; the public cannot handle the truth about what happens at abortion clinics.
One is led to wonder what it is that the federal courts believe to be hallowed.
