So the president is now gallivanting around the country trying to sell us on the efficacy of the Iran nuclear deal. Using his finest professorial demeanor, he lectures us on the great job his team has done to curtail Iran’s nuclear arsenal. However, he seems to forget that he has limited ability to tell the truth. Remember the words “you can keep your doctor” or “you can keep your health plan.” Then there is the blame he foisted on a video as the cause of the Benghazi crisis.
I’m afraid, Mr. President, that no matter your demeanor, it’s as difficult for us to know when you are telling the truth as it was when the villagers came rushing each time the boy cried “wolf!” Sadly, you have destroyed any credibility in the office of president. Your ability to tell the truth is made out of the same fabric as the emperor’s new clothes.
