It’s back-to-school time, which means parents will have their hands full prepping their children for the coming school year.
While that can sometimes be a taxing venture, expert Debbie Caperton, the educator and owner of the SOS Learning Lab in Michigan, offered some simple and low-cost ideas to parents on how they can help their children do well in school.
The easiest way to help your child succeed: help with them with their homework, no matter their grade level, Caperton said.
“Parents, please join in and don’t stop helping your kids with homework after elementary school,” she said. “Junior high and high school students need you to help them too because they have more on their plate.”
