18-year-old Taylor Nelson did more than participate in a recent reenactment of the pioneer trek. He helped a friend.

Brian Allen suffered from a terrible injury during an ATV accident when he was Nelson's age, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. But that didn't stop him from accepting the challenge when his LDS bishop asked him to participate in the trek.

So Nelson offered to push him the 27-mile-long journey.
