KAYSVILLE — The City Council seeks to fill a vacancy as Councilman Jared Taylor has announced his resignation from the council effective Sept. 2.
Taylor's resignation is planned as he is relocating his residence and will no longer live in Kaylsville. He has served the city for nearly six years.
The council will adopt appointment procedures at its meeting Sept. 1, including giving the public notice of at least two weeks before it will meet to fill the vacancy, and when interested candidates can begin to submit their names.
