The faith-based comedy "Once I Was a Beehive" is coming to theaters nationwide, according to Variety.com.

The film's official Facebook page posted a link to the Variety article Thursday and thanked fans for their support. The national release cities have not been finalized, according to the Facebook post, and fans can request to have the film shown in their area by visiting girlscampmovie.com.

The film was released first in Utah on Aug. 14, 2015, and additional showings were announced for Utah, Idaho and Arizona after a successful premiere weekend.

Created by the producers of "The Saratov Approach," the film features a 16-year-old girl who attends LDS girls camp after her widowed mother marries a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
