There are businesses in the public sector that choose to own their own server and are required to independently back up all communications on that server without exception. Additionally, those same communications are “captured” — reviewed and stored off-site from the business location. I happen to own one of those businesses. Hillary Clinton, the former secretary of state, is apparently being held to an entirely different standard than many of the businesses she claims to support.
I have a hard time buying the idea that Clinton, an ex-first lady, ex-secretary of state, ex-senator and an ex- and current presidential candidate didn’t think about how decisions with her private server would look to the future electorate. She has hidden behind words and interpretation of words.
I anticipated, expected and expect more from Clinton, a leading presidential contender who (in my opinion, has been running for president for decades) doesn’t know these things. It is high time for these and any obfuscations to end.
