MORGAN — A North Ogden motorcyclist was killed Sunday and his son was injured in an accident on I-84.

The father and son were riding two motorcycles and traveling west when the accident occurred about 4 p.m. near the Taggart interchange. As they took a curve in the road, the motorcycle driven by Kenneth Rash, 53, drifted off to the right side and hit the steel guardrail, the Utah Highway Patrol reported.

Rash was thrown across the lanes, came to rest on the left hand shoulder and died from his injuries. His son, Christopher Rash, 36, of Ogden, laid down his bike and received minor injuries, according to the UHP.
