BLUFFDALE — The city will hold a public meeting to discuss a new master plan for the city’s parks and recreation department.
The Bluffdale Planning Commission and Parks Advisory Committee will meet at the city fire station at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2, to discuss the city’s Draft Parks, Trails, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan.
The plan will consider data provided by surveys submitted to an undisclosed number of residents of Bluffdale. The city had the goal of 400 surveys completed, but received 624.
The goals of the parks and recreation plan will include engaging response from the community, assessing the status of current facilities and developing a framework for future decision-making.
