The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released the 2015 cross country regional rankings on Monday with the Utah Valley University men's cross-country team being ranked No. 13 in the Mountain region.

The Wolverines ended their 2014 season in 13th place in the Mountain region after garnering their second-consecutive WAC Championship. Utah Valley returns six top 15 WAC runners from last year and will open their season on Saturday at the BYU Autumn Classic.

"We're excited to get the season underway," head coach Scott Houle said. "The preseason rankings are an important motivation for the athletes. We are coming off of a great season last year, and we know we can build on that and move up in the rankings throughout the season."
