You are just a sensation. – Nigel Lythgoe, executive producer
LOS ANGELES — Orem dancer Alexia Meyer and Roy dancer Hailee Payne again received rave reviews from the "So You Think You Can Dance" judges Monday night, making it into the show's top 14 dancers.
Starting the night off on a high note, Payne and krumper Jana "JaJa" Vankova performed a female-empowerment jazz number by choreographer Ray Leaper after the opening group number.
Executive producer Nigel Lythgoe said that Payne and Vankova were two of the show's "best powerhouses" of the season.
"You are just a sensation," he told Payne. The rest of the judges agreed.
Meyer and freestyler Eddie "Neptune" Eskridge kept the momentum going with a "crazy love story" hip-hop duet by Dave Scott.
Again, the judges loved it.
"I feel like you're getting better and better every week," R&B artist Jason Derulo told Meyer.
The two Utah natives hit the stage again with a ghostly contemporary number at the end of the show, making it into the show's top 14 dancers after Marissa Milele and Asaf Goren were voted off.
Tune in to Fox Monday, Aug. 10, at 7 p.m. to watch Payne and Meyer compete for spots in the show's top 10.
