Photographer Tracy Lynn Sweeney may have just found the most adorable way to document a baby’s first year.

Sweeney, who runs Elan Studio in Bristol, Rhode Island, took photos of sleeping babies dressed in family friendly costumes, including one baby who’s dressed as Yoda in time for the new Star Wars movie due out this winter.

Many parents often try to heavily document their baby’s first year because it tends to "fly by," Parents magazine’s Cheryl Lock wrote. Some even miss out on moments because they don’t take photos or record what their baby does.

“The first year of your baby's life will fly by,” Lock wrote. “In the blink of an eye, that little bundle of joy that you were so nervous to bring home will turn into a babbling, crawling, food-flinging 1-year old — and from there life only moves more quickly. That's why it's so important to document the first year of your baby's life.”
