Utah football unveils throwback uniforms for Homecoming game against Cal

The Utah Utes football team will take a comprehensive look at its history through uniforms this fall.

The athletic department announced via Twitter Thursday morning that the team will wear "Neo Classic" throwback jerseys for its Homecoming game against Cal Oct. 10 that combine various elements of uniforms from years past.

The interlocking "UU" logo from the 1960s will be on the helmets, the font for the numbers from the 1970s will be featured, and the stripes that were a mainstay from the 1970s-1990s will be visible.
