The NBA agreed to contracts worth $1.4 billion the opening day of free agency July 1, a mind-boggling number for many, if not most. What’s more, it’s set to jump by even more next summer.

Due to the large salary cap jump in the NBA this year, I have complied a list of the highest paid player for every team (based off of a single year's salary) from the beginning of the NBA until the end of the 2014-2015 season. This list will be short-lived as the salary cap has jumped and will do so again next season, meaning larger contracts are on the way. Get ready to see a lot of 000’s.

All teams' highest-paid player includes only the highest paid player of all previous locations (i.e. Thunder’s highest-paid player will be the highest of Seattle or Oklahoma City, whichever location paid a player most).
