SANDY — The swimming pool at Alta Canyon Sports Center will go to the dogs this month.

The facility, 9565 S. Highland Drive, is inviting dogs to jump in the pool on two upcoming Saturdays, Sept. 19 and 26, 9 a.m.-noon. Cost is $8 per dog and owner, and $2 for each additional dog.

Sandy dog park rules apply. Dogs must be on voice control and have current vaccinations. Humans are not allowed in the pool during the event.
