Looks like there will soon be two more members of the Cohen family.
On Wednesday, both Ben Mackenzie and Adam Brody, who played famed duo Ryan Atwood and Seth Cohen in the early 2000’s hit “The O.C.,” announced they were both starting their own families.
Brody and his wife Leighton Meester, who starred on “Gossip Girl,” a show created by the creator of “The O.C.,” announced Wednesday that they had their first baby, a girl they named Arlo, according to E! Online.
It was only hours later when Mackenzie and “Gotham” co-star Morena Baccarin announced they were expecting a child too, according to MTV News.
The Internet loved the announcements.
“Did they plan it this way?” asked Refinery29’s Sabrina Rojas Weiss.
“Awww, it seems like only yesterday that ne'er-do-well Ryan was caught stealing a car in Chino, and a friendly DA took him home to live in the O.C. Congrats to the Cohen family (who still totally exist, right?)!” Weiss wrote.
Social media enjoyed the announcements, too.
Ryan Atwood is having a baby, and Seth Cohen just had a baby. So there's that. #TheOC— Samantha Highfill (@samhighfill) September 24, 2015

Not to be outdone, Rachel Bilson, who played Brody’s girlfriend Summer on “The O.C.,” recently spoke about how she named her daughter — born last October to father actor Hayden Christiansen, who played Darth Vader in the prequel Star Wars trilogy — Briar Rose after the Disney character in Sleeping Beauty, Business Standard reported.
"There's a Disney reference there I suppose. The original Sleeping Beauty is called Briar Rose. Rachel — we both love Disney — but Rachel especially was very keen on the name," Christensen said, according to Business Standard.
