The Clean Cut: Keith Urban calls Utah native's 'American Idol' audition 'unforgettable'

Jenn Blosil recently auditioned for “American Idol,” receiving a golden ticket and praise from the judges.

Blosil’s audition aired during the Jan. 13 episode. Blosil, who was raised in Orem and now lives in Brooklyn, New York, performed a song from a band that originated in Utah, “Radioactive” by Imagine Dragons.

After Blosil performed the song on the piano, the judges presented her with a golden ticket, meaning she will continue to the next round of the competition in Los Angeles.

Country music singer Keith Urban, one of the judges on the show, said Blosil’s performance was “unforgettable.”

Blosil is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served a mission in the New York New York South Mission, according to her blog.
