Utah State’s men’s and women’s cross-country teams were ranked eighth and 10th, respectively, in the fifth week of the Mountain Region cross-country rankings that were announced Monday by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
In its last meet, Utah State’s men placed 14th out of 40 teams with 454 points, while the Aggie women finished 24th out of 42 teams at the Indiana State-hosted Pre-Nationals.
Utah State returns to action at the MW Championships, which will be hosted by Boise State, on Friday, Oct. 28, at Falcon Crest Golf Club in Kuna, Idaho. The Aggie women finished sixth with 144 points at last year’s championships, while the men finished eighth with 220 points.
The NCAA Mountain Region Championships will be hosted by Utah State and held in Logan, Utah, on Friday, Nov. 11 – eight days before the NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, Indiana, on Nov. 19.
