KEARNS — A man who told police that he was robbed and shot at was arrested Wednesday after investigators say they found a drug lab inside his house.
Police received numerous calls of shots fired near 4085 W. 5855 South about 1:45 a.m. When they arrived in the area, they found a man who claimed that three to four men in a white sedan robbed him of his backpack and car charger, said Unified Police Lt. Brian Lohrke.
Officers who continued to look around the area found at least 14 long gun shell casings in the road and one bullet hole in the man's house, Lohrke said.
After obtaining a search warrant, investigators went inside the man's house. There they found a drug distributing operation that was manufacturing Dab, a THC product, Lohrke said.
Keagan Boroquez-Dazley, 19, was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of drug distribution. The search for the gunmen continued Wednesday.
