The latest round of NBA power rankings came out and the Utah Jazz are holding strong to their top 10 position after and impressive 4-1 road trip.

NBA.com's John Schuhmann has the Jazz ranked No. 8, saying, "We knew their defense would be good, but they're in position to finish better than the league average on both ends of the floor for the first time since Jerry Sloan's last full season on the bench (2009-10)."

ESPN's Marc Stein also had the Jazz in the eighth spot, saying, "The Jazz have already played a whopping eight road games and had to finish Saturday night's win at Miami without the ailing Derrick Favors, George Hill and Boris Diaw."

Jeremy Woo of Sports Illustrated had the Jazz jumping up three spots to No. 8. He writes, "The hipsters were right about everyone’s favorite preseason team: the Jazz are playing the NBA’s slowest pace, holding it down on defense and getting it done."

Matt Moore of CBS Sports has the Jazz at No. 7 in his rankings, saying, "If you're going to make a big jump in the standings, the first step is beating teams you're supposed to. The Jazz, despite injuries, don't have a bad loss on their resume. They've lost to good teams on the road, and the Spurs at home. They've got a winnable four-game stretch coming up as well."

Mika, Cougars get Twitter love after opening game win

The BYU Cougars opened up their 2016-17 basketball schedule with a big win over Princeton on Monday night and Twitter took notice.

ESPN college basketball analyst Fran Fraschilla paid a great compliment to Mika in his return with this tweet.

Campus Insiders liked what it saw out of Mika and the Cougars sharing three tweets.
