Park City police chief elected vice president of international association

PARK CITY — The International Associations for Chiefs of Police has elected Park City Chief Wade as its vice president at large.

The appointment elevates Carpenter to the 15-person executive board that oversees 20,000 law enforcement members from around the world. The organization supports is members through education, outreach, advocacy and programs.

Carpenter, who is also a member of the organization’s patrol and tactical operations committee, will serve a three-year term beginning this month.
