Salt Lake City — 'Tis the season in Northern Utah.
Yesterday, KSL meteorologist Grant Weyman predicted 3 inches of snow in areas of the valley. Today he reports "heavier snow is taking place on the west side of the Salt Lake Valley and Tooele County."
Snow showers should be expected throughout the morning, Weyman said. Follow the winter driving tips from the Utah Department of Transportation to stay safe on the roads today.
Residents along the Wasatch Front took to social media to celebrate the overnight transformation to winter wonderland — at least most of them did.
