High school boys basketball: 4A team-by-team capsules

The 2016-2017 high school basketball season gets underway this Tuesday with 35 games around the state. To prepare fans for the upcoming season, the Deseret News has put together capsules for every team in 4A. Every coach was invited to participate and submit information.

The region rankings are based on coaches preseason projections.

Here are the 4A teams and players to watch this upcoming season.


Region 5 Capsules

1. Woods Cross High School

If we can work as hard as Hillcrest teams have worked in the past and shoot the ball effectively I believe the Huskies could have a very successful season.”

4. Judge Memorial High School

We can be a nightmare to guard.”
