10 family Christmas activities in northern Utah

'Tis the season to be jolly.

So why get stressed when deciding which activites to do as a family?

There are a lot of options in and around Salt Lake City, so below is a map of some of the various holiday activites in northern Utah.

Some events are free to attend, such as the Annual Interfaith Creche Exhibit in Midway. The exhibit features nativities from all over the world, a marionette nativity show, as well as crafts for kids.

Other events, such as the Lights on Wakefield in West Valley City, are free, but donations are accepted. Since Lights on Wakefield is simply a house decorated for Christmas, they don't charge, but they work with two foundations, Children and the Earth, and the Mascot Miracles Foundation, to raise money. Santa and Mrs. Claus can also be found there.

Activities that cost money include events such as the lights at Hogle Zoo. Prices for ZooLights are $8 for adults, $6 for children under 12, and $7 for seniors.

Whether your family wants to stay warm inside, look at lights, or save money, there is something for everyone to enjoy and get into the holiday spirit.
