TAYLORSVILLE — An eight-car accident at 4700 South and 2200 West left two people severely injured Saturday.
At least one of the two people police on the scene described as being in critical condition had to be extricated from a vehicle. Four others were transported to the hospital with lesser injuries.
It appears all the vehicles were traveling westbound when one car rear-ended the others, according to Unified police. The accident happened about 10:15 a.m.
Westbound traffic lanes on 4700 South were blocked for several hours.
