Fox News Channel announced Tuesday that Abby Huntsman, daughter of 2012 presidential candidate Jon Huntsman Jr., has been named a new co-host of "Fox & Friends Weekend." Huntsman will make her first appearance on the show this Saturday.

“Abby’s energetic reporting and ability to connect with our viewers make her a great addition on the curvy couch,” Suzanne Scott, executive vice president of programming, said in a press release.

Huntsman received mixed reviews during her stint on MSNBC’s “The Cycle,” but in 2013 was named to Forbes “30 under 30” during her time as host of HuffPost Live.

Still, despite success at a young age, Huntsman said in a press release that her new gig at Fox News is fulfillment of a lifelong dream. Huntsman, who has worked with Fox News Channel since 2015, will join current host Clayton Morris and a rotating male co-host, according to the press release.
